Here is the speech after elected as church leader that we have provided in our pages below here, you can download the speech so that it can help towards the event that is ahead of you in the church.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Firstly, I
am profoundly grateful and humbled by the confidence you have placed in
me today by electing me as your church leader. I express my deepest
gratitude for the trust that you have placed in me. I receive this
immense responsibility with great honor, immense humility and an
unyielding resolve to serve our church community to the best of my
ability.
In this new role, I see myself not as a ruler, but as a
servant. I am eager to be your guide, and moreover, your companion and
friend in this spiritual journey we all embarked on together. As Matthew
23:11 says, "The greatest among you shall be your servant." I will
strive to fulfill this scripture and ensure that it is the cornerstone
of my leadership.
Because we are a community bound by faith, our
primary focus should remain the cultivation of our spiritual
relationship with God. Yet, that should not deter us from reaching out
and making a difference in the world around us. As the afterglow of
Christ's light, it is our humble duty to be his hands in this world, to
comfort the broken-hearted, feed the hungry and advocate for justice.
Our
church is a communion of different people with diverse experiences and
talents. This diversity is our strength and it will be my endeavor to
foster an environment where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and heard.
It is also crucial that our church remains a space of love, acceptance
and mutual respect, where anyone can seek solace, spiritual growth and
experience God's unconditional love.
I am confident that we can
achieve greatness if we stay united, committed, and guided by the
teachings of the Holy Scripture. Let us not forget that when two or
three gather in the name of the Lord, He is there with them. With this
comforting knowledge and the guidance of His word, I have no doubt that
we will grow and prosper together as a community.
In closing, I
invite each and every one of you to join hands with me and with each
other, as we continue our spiritual journey and commit ourselves to make
our church community a beacon of hope, love, and unity for all.
Together, we will uphold our faith, support each other, and make a
difference in our community and beyond.
Thank you once again for
entrusting me with this important position. May God’s grace be with us,
leading the way, giving us strength and wisdom in all that we set out to
do.
God bless you all, and God bless our church.
