I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus,

Let me take this opportunity to thank our creator and redeemer for His love to us. He has allowed us to meet here today as we deliberate on the welfare of our pastor and the wife.

The Church gave this committee a mandate to make sure our pastor and the family are supported and kept well as we pray for them and also give them any support that they need.

As we read from the book of I Timothy 5:17-18, we find that Paul is reminding Timothy to tell the elders the following words which I’m going to repeat that word here during this occasion and it says.” Let the elders who rule well will be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine. For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle an ox while it treads out the grain,“ and, “The laborer is worthy of his wages”
