Here is the thank you speech to your senior pastor after ordination that you can get from our pages to help in the event that is ahead of you, the speech is ready and can be downloaded instantly.
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Today, as I
stand before you all, newly ordained, I acknowledge in heartfelt
gratitude the great honor and responsibility that has been bestowed upon
me. My emotions are overflowing knowing the trust, faith, and
confidence placed in me by God and by you, my church family. But even
more so, I am grateful to one person who has been instrumental in my
being here today, our respected Senior Pastor.
Pastor [Senior
Pastor's name], I don't even know how to begin to thank you. Words seem
inadequate when I reflect on the immeasurable impact you've made on my
journey. I am truly blessed to have trained under your wing, learning
from your wisdom, your faithfulness, and your unwavering commitment to
God’s calling.
Your spiritual guidance has been a beacon of light
for me in these past years. The lessons I have learned from you extend
beyond homilies or bible study. Your genuine love for everyone, your
selfless service, and your unwavering principles have set an example
that I hope to emulate as I begin my service. Your prophetic voice has
not only transformed the church but has shaped my understanding of what
it means to be a true servant of God.
From the bottom of my
heart, I am sincerely grateful for your investment in me. Your
mentorship has cleansed my heart, strengthened my faith, and sharpened
my theological understanding. As I embark on this new journey, the
greatest gift you’ve given me is your prayers; and I know with all
certainty that your continued prayers will be my guiding light for my
ministry.
To say that I am thankful seems small in comparison to
the magnitude of the gratitude that envelops my heart. But, yes, thank
you, Pastor [Senior Pastor's name]. Thank you for believing in me, for
guiding me, for fortifying me, and for being there for me in ways that
words fail to articulate entirely.
As I take on my new role, I am
reminded of Paul’s words in Philippians 4:9, “The things you have
learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things,
and the God of peace will be with you.” You have walked the talk; you
have shown us how to be Christ-like in words and deeds.
Rest
assured, the knowledge, skills, values, wisdom, and experience you have
shared with me will not be in vain. I commit to carrying forth your
legacy of faith and service – while trying to be that beacon of light
for those who seek God, just like you have been for me.
Yet, I
also understand that my journey has only just begun, and the road may
not always be as smooth. As I move forward, I humbly implore you to
continue nurturing me with your guidance, counsel, and wisdom.
To
everyone else present here, I am thankful to each of you for your love
and blessings that have made me the person I stand before you today. We
are one church, one body, united in Christ, and I feel immensely
privileged and honored to be ordained and serve God alongside you.
In
conclusion, knowing that each one of us is a unique manifestation of
God’s spirit on earth, I humbly request your prayers, guidance, and
support as we continue this beautiful journey together.
Thank you and God bless us all.
In Christ’s love,
[Your Name]
