Here is the church general overseer welcome speech that we have prepared in our pages below that can help you towards the occasion that is church which is ahead of you
Ladies and Gentlemen,
I greet
you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. As the newly
appointed General Overseer of this wonderful congregation, I warmly
welcome you all to today's service.
I am both humbled and
privileged to have been chosen to lead this church family. I recognize
the immense responsibility that comes with this role, and I am deeply
committed to guiding this congregation in the spirit of love, unity, and
service to God.
As we gather here today, let us reflect on the
beauty and diversity amongst us; the wonderful gifts and talents that
each one of us brings to this congregation. I invite each and every one
of you to fully contribute these gifts and talents to the work of the
Lord; to uplifting our community, bringing love to our neighbors and
revealing God's grace in every corner of our lives.
I am excited
about the journey that lies ahead for us. A journey of spiritual growth,
of deepening our relationship with God, and of working together to be
the hands and feet of Jesus Christ in our community. I assure you that
my primary aim is to be a servant-leader who inspires, encourages and
guides in pedagogy of Christ.
May we develop a hunger for God's
word, cultivate a heart for worship and foster a culture of love and
service. I urge you to join hands and hearts with me, as we walk this
path together.
In closing, I would like to express my gratitude
for the warm welcome I have received from this community. I am overjoyed
to embark on this faith-filled journey with each one of you, as we
build upon the solid foundation laid by those who have served before us.
May
God bless this church; may his spirit dwell amongst us and guide us in
all that we do. Welcome once again to this service, let us worship in
truth and spirit, as we magnify our God together.
Thank you.
We thank our Lord in heaven, for giving us the gift of life and His grace is sufficient.
